Happy Thanksgiving!

No words in any language can express the overwhelming sense of gratitude one gets from living for a period in earthly purgatory, on death’s door and then returning to almost normal living. To experience an intimacy with God that didn’t seem humanly possible before. I think the liberated from the Nazi death camps understand the feeling. And then to have raised five wonderful children and to have such a good wife and to live in such a beautiful place. Why am I so blessed? I hope everyone is overwhelmed with the gratitude that I feel in this early Thanksgiving morning.

Happy Thanksgiving blessings to you and your beautiful family.
I share many of your same thoughts. After losing our dear, beautiful daughter at such a very young age , then my step son , parents and now my loving husband from pancreatic cancer I want to question God yet I know how truly blessed I have been to have such love in my life.
You are an inspiration and you give me HOPE.
    Thank you.

Good Thanksgiving morning Mike, Think I left a comment on the post…but not sure. So again…Amen!! We were challenged to make a list of 100 things for which we are thankful…that isn’t enough room 🙂 Thanksgiving joy and hugs to you and your amazing family. You are all missed.
