Well, after 5 months of worsening cancer numbers, I’ve now have had two months of improving numbers (light chain lambda proteins down to 111, was 138 in august, normal is below 20), and improving kidney numbers with a est. GFR of 28.3, (closing in on half of normal). But, this is without any changes in my main chemo. My oncologist has shifted my visits and blood tests to every 90 days, rather than monthly. One chemo that I did monthly to protect my bones has now ended (after two years). So, over all, things are better than expected. I’m feeling pretty good except for unexplained back pain, which many of you must experience and GI problems from my present chemo, which many of you with IBS must experience. So, while I’m very happy about the improving numbers, regarding special or new problems, thank goodness there’s nothing to write home about … or even to blog about. Thanks for your continuing support and prayers.
