Cancer Update and New Healing Hut Update

I received my monthly labs and once again, thank God, my cancer is still in remission, marking the second year of remission. Of course, my labs are consistent with the damage has been done, renal failure and screwed up immune system, but no trace of the cancer. My myeloma specialist reminds me that the day is coming, eventually the cancer will return, but until then, I will live the best life I can muster.

I have the latest episode of my vlog, The Healing Hut. Following advice from my viewers, I’ve changed the format to including more content and publishing them monthly rather than every other week. I did have a cancer support newsletter do an article about this venture (yet to be published) and next week a local newspaper will be interviewing me for a story about the cottage.   Gracias antonio. ¿Cómo te va con tu propio problema de cáncer? Estaba pensando en ti anoche mientras intentaba encontrar el partido de playoffs de la NBA en la televisión y vi que el Real Madrid se transmitía aquí (como muchos partidos de fútbol europeo).

  Hola Antonio, necesito darte una triste noticia. Janet Webster falleció ayer. Escuché esto de Derrick Dean. Tiene un amigo de la iglesia en Lexington que todavía era amigo de Tom y Janet. Al parecer murió de un derrame cerebral. Espero que estés bien con tu cáncer de próstata.

loved your video – I love your interaction with the goats who are so adorable!, your talking about your usual day or schedule in your day including your walk with Greta, and I really appreciated what you had to say about the struggle with self image when dealing with cancer or other major health issues. thanks Mike!

hi Mike,

Your new blog automatically came up on my TV on the YouTube suggestions, so I watched it. You did a really nice job on the 30 minute show. I like that you shared how you felt you didn’t have a purpose in life and how that opened your eyes to how other people must feel too, after losing a job for whatever reason. Sometimes people feel that way after their kids leave home too.

I just really enjoyed the entire video and am looking forward to next month and hearing what you have to say. Good job Mike. You’re hired!
